Clearwater sewer work will cause some inconvenience

CLEARWATER A sewer pipe improvement project is under way across Clearwater and could cause disturbances such as noise from pumps, a resin odor, and construction equipment on streets.

Work in each area will last 24 to 72 hours. Once the work begins, it cannot be stopped, so as not to interfere with the curing process.

The project areas include: Countryside Boulevard and Winding Wood Drive, now through Wednesday; Hercules Avenue north of Palmetto Drive, Thursday through Nov. 28; Edenville Avenue and Druid Road, Nov. 29 through Dec. 1; and Waverly Way and Franklin Street, Dec. 4-5.
