St. Petersburg seeks input for marina plan

ST. PETERSBURG — The city wants input from residents about the future design of the St. Petersburg Marina. Residents can comment during an open house that starts at 5 p.m. Thursday, at the Sunshine Center, 330 Fifth St. N.

The session will gather ideas for the Municipal Marina Master Plan, which plans to improve the infrastructure design, including docks, accommodations for larger boats and improved amenities, all in keeping with the Downtown Waterfront Master Plan.

Marina staff will be available to answer questions about current conditions, the regional boating market, and future design possibilities of a new marina. Comments can also be left on an online survey, available through Jan. 31, at stpete.org/parks_and_recreation/marina/.
