CLEARWATER — The Countryside branch library in north Clearwater was closed this morning after a sewer line to the facility was accidentally cut by a work crew.
City spokeswoman Joelle Castelli said conduit was being installed to expand the city's fiber optic network when the sewer line was cut, affecting sewer service to the library.
Repairs are under way. Officials said the library, located at 2741 State Road 580, would reopen at 1 p.m. today.
