County to consider pet rules

Pinellas County commissioners are scheduled to consider several changes to the rules regarding pets during their Tuesday meeting. Among other things, the commission is considering a proposal to require that dogs found running loose more than once in a 24-month period are spayed or neutered at their owner's expense. That proposal, and other pet-related items, are scheduled to come before them at 6 p.m. in the commission chambers in the Pinellas County Court House, 315 Court St., Clearwater.
