Henry Wilson Jr. was sworn in as a member of the County Commission on Tuesday by his minister. His wife and two children stood at his side. Wilson, a Republican and political newcomer, won election over Commissioner Michael Cox, the board's lone Democrat, on Nov. 2. Several local Republicans attended the swearing in event, including state GOP committeeman Bill Bunting and former state Rep. Ken Littlefield, who narrowly lost the Republican primary to incumbent Pat Mulieri. Mulieri, who was also sworn in Tuesday, passed the chairman's gavel to Commissioner Ann Hildebrand. Commissioner Ted Schrader was elected vice chairman.
