Monday

Brooksville City Council, 7 p.m., council chambers, Brooksville City Hall, 201 Howell Ave., Brooksville. Agenda: Appointment of replacement council member; council vacancy ordinance.

Tuesday

Hernando County Commission, 9 a.m. workshop, commission chambers, Hernando County Government Center, 20 N Main St., Brooksville. Agenda: Proposed economic development plan.

Hernando County School Board, 2 p.m. workshop to include update on the new magnet school policy committee; 7 p.m. regular board meeting, 919 N Broad St., Brooksville.

Wednesday

Spring Hill Fire Rescue Commission, 9 a.m., 3445 Bob Hartung Court, Spring Hill. Agenda: Appointment of new fire commissioner.

Hernando County Port Authority Board, 7 p.m., Linda Pedersen Park at Jenkins Creek, recreation building, 6340 Shoal Line Blvd., Hernando Beach. Agenda: Hernando Beach dredge project.
