Lealman fire chief to speak on proposed transfer of paramedic position

LEALMAN — Fire Chief Rick Graham is scheduled to be the keynote speaker at Wednesday's meeting of the Lealman Community Association. Graham's topic will be the proposed transfer of a paramedic position from Lealman Fire Station 19 to Kenneth City Fire Station 16, which is run by Pinellas Park, and its possible effect on district service and taxes. Also scheduled to be present is Mike Cooksey, fire coordinator for Pinellas County, who will discuss the rationale for the proposal and what effect the county believes such a move will have on service and taxes. The LCA meets at 7 p.m. at the VFW, 4145 34th St. N. The meeting is open to the public. For information, call Ray Neri at (727) 527-5352.
