North Redington Beach's property tax rate will increase

NORTH REDINGTON BEACH — After decades of holding fast to one of the lowest property tax rates in Pinellas County, the town is going higher. The new rate is $1 per $1,000 of assessed, taxable property value. The previous rate was about $0.75 per $1,000.

The town had used reserves to avoid raising the rate, but those reserves are now down.
