Port Richey residents told to boil water after main breaks

PORT RICHEY — City residents are being urged to boil their water after a main broke Wednesday afternoon.

Homes between Ridge Road and State Road 52 could see low or no pressure for up to 72 hours.

Utility crews have worked to fix the main since 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, according to city staffers. As of 4:30 p.m., officials still did not know what had caused the break.
