Vacant council seat will be topic of workshop
Seminole City Council members have scheduled a workshop Thursday to discuss how to fill a vacant seat. The seat became vacant last week when Leslie Waters became interim mayor after Jimmy Johnson resigned for health reasons. Waters will serve as interim mayor until the March election and has said she intends to run for the seat then. The workshop is scheduled for 6 p.m. in the council chambers, Seminole City Hall, 9199 113th St. N.
