The new CEO of the Tampa Hillsborough Homeless Initiative will be a longtime manager from the city of St. Louis' homeless services division.

The hire was confirmed by Hillsborough County Administrator Mike Merrill, who is a board member for the homeless initiative.

Hayes-Triplett replaces Maria Barcus, who is retiring in August after less than two years on the job. Hayes-Triplett will earn $135,000 per year. She is bringing her deputy in St. Louis, Antonio Byrd, with her. Byrd will make $85,000 per year.
