Tampa history marked with celebration, mayoral portraits

Tampa Mayor Bob Buckhorn, former Gov. Bob Martinez and three other former Tampa mayors gathered Tuesday for the "Celebration of the City of Tampa's History with Our Mayors."

The event, which recognized 126 years of history of the city was held in the city's courtyard between Old City Hall and the Tampa Municipal Office Building at 315 E Kennedy Boulevard.

The former mayors were Dick Greco, Sandy Freedman and Bill Poe. As part of the celebration, the official mayoral portraits were on display in the Old City Hall.
