Workshop set for Ridge Road widening in New Port Richey

NEW PORT RICHEY

A workshop is set Thursday for residents and business owners wishing to learn more about the widening of Ridge Road between Broad Street and Moon Lake Road.

The meeting is set from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Faith Baptist Church of New Port Richey, 9230 Ridge Road.

Pasco County staff and representatives from road builder Pepper Contracting Services will provide updates about the project, which began a few months ago with the relocation of utilities and other work. Maps and renderings will be available for viewing and staff will be on hand to answer questions.

The nearly 3-mile project involves widening Ridge to four lanes and adding sidewalks and medians. The work is expected to last until early next year.
