CARROLLWOOD — Promising American tavern fare with an upscale twist, Marlow's Tavern will open its first Tampa Bay location Tuesday in the Carrollwood Village Center.
The restaurant already has locations in Georgia and Orlando. It offers a chef-driven menu of fresh, high-quality food that is made daily from scratch. The menu includes items such as tavern burgers, fish and seafood, sandwiches, salads and a variety of appetizers. The menu will change seasonally based on the availability of fresh ingredients.
Marlow's Tavern also has an extensive beverage menu that includes handcrafted cocktails made with fresh juices, small-batch liquors, biters and aperitifs. Wines from around the world are available by the glass or bottle. A variety of beer is offered in bottles, cans and on tap, including craft beer from local breweries, such as Cigar City.
"At Marlow's Tavern, we take great pride in creating fun food and drinks inspired by classic tavern items and elevating them with the freshest ingredients and adding a modern twist," said John C. Metz Jr., executive chef and co-founder of Marlow's Tavern. "Our menus are inspired by the season and we focus on local, fresh and unique ingredients for every dish and drink, as we keep our food and cocktails recognizable and approachable to enjoy with your friends and family."
Leading into its opening, Marlow's Tavern is partnering with Metropolitan Ministries to provide meals for those who are homeless, or at risk of becoming homeless. Proceeds from the grand opening events and ongoing support will benefit Metropolitan Ministries' food services programs.
Marlow's Tavern is located at 13134 N Dale Mabry Highway, and opens daily at 11:30 am. To view their full menu, visit marlowstavern.com.
