TAMPA — MacDill Air Force Base officials say Tampa Bay residents can expect increased military air traffic until March 15 as the base hosts "international pilot upgrade training."
"We are extremely pleased to work with our international partners, and we hope that the residents of Tampa will be patient with us if it is a little noisier than usual," said Col. Scott DeThomas, commander of MacDill's 6th Air Mobility Wing.
The most active times will be Monday through Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
