Military graduations, promotions

Air Force Airman Timothy D. Forsman, son of Jim Forsman of Largo, has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. Forsman is a 2006 graduate of Seminole High School.

Air Force Airman Jacob R. Schuyler, son of Kenneth Schuyler of Tampa and Beatrice Cressy of Largo, has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. Schuyler is a 2008 graduate of Seminole High School.

Air Force Airman Zachary C. Pierce, son of Michael Pierce and Laura Augustine, both of St. Petersburg, has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. Pierce is a 2009 graduate of Northeast High School.

Air Force Airman Nicholas T. Walsh, son of Amy and Heath Walsh of St. Petersburg, has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. Walsh is a 2010 graduate of Dixie Hollins High School.

Air Force Airman Kurtis A. Chase, son of Georgia Chase of St. Petersburg, has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.

Air Force Airman 1st Class James A. O'Daniel, son of Steven Haynes of St. Petersburg, has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. The airman is a 2001 graduate of Boca Ciega High School and a 2005 graduate of St. Petersburg College.

Army Pfc. Rafal Mechlinski, son of Danuta Mechlinski of St. Petersburg, has graduated from the Basic Field Artillery Cannon Crewmember Advanced Individual Training course at Fort Sill, Lawton, Okla. Mechlinski is a 2001 graduate of Dixie Hollins High School.

Gary L. Gainer, son of Cindy L. Thurton of St. Petersburg, has been promoted to the rank of private first class in the U.S. Army. The private is a signal support systems specialist regularly assigned to the 1st Battalion, 19th Field Artillery, Fort Sill, Lawton, Okla. Gainer is a 2010 graduate of Gibbs High School.

Army Pfc. Glenn A. Moore, son of Glenn and Danielle Moore of Seminole, has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. Moore is a 2008 graduate of Largo High School.

Army Pvt. Jennifer M. McFarlane, daughter of Sybil McFarlane of Riverview and Hugh McFarlane of St. Petersburg, has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. McFarlane is a 2001 graduate of Wharton High School in Tampa.

Army Pfc. Christopher L. Negron, son of Madeline Lopez of St. Petersburg and nephew of Doris Negron of Providence, R.I., has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. Negron is a 2009 graduate of Gibbs High School.
