TAMPA — More planes will be coming and going from MacDill Air Force Base as it hosts an international pilot training program, officials said.
The heightened air traffic will continue until March 15, with the most active flight times taking place Monday through Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
"We are extremely pleased to work with our international partners," said Col. Scott DeThomas, 6th Air Mobility Wing commander, in a statement. "We hope that the residents of Tampa will be patient with us if it is a little noisier than usual."
