School senior accused of sex attacks on 18

An 18-year-old Arizona high school senior appeared in court Friday after a second arrest amid accusations that he is a serial sex predator who assaulted 18 students. A Pinal County judge ordered Tyler Kost, a student at Poston Butte High School in Florence, held without bond based on allegations that include additional cases reported after his previous arrest. County Attorney Lando Voyles said his office has not yet filed any charges and is allowing the Sheriff's Office to continue investigating. Sheriff Paul Babeu said Kost was arrested Thursday on 25 additional charges. Kost was arrested Monday on four charges. Babeu said there are 18 reported victims over three years. "This is a serious and serial sex offender and rapist," he said at a news conference.

South Sudanese President Salva Kiir agreed Friday to attend peace talks with his rival in a political and military conflict that has killed thousands, Secretary of State John Kerry said. Kiir agreed to meet as soon as next week with rebel leader Riek Machar in the nearby Ethiopian capital, Kerry said after a meeting at Kiir's office.
