From the rubble, Moore rises

O ne year after a deadly tornado carved a 17-mile path through the heart of Moore, Okla., and killed 24 people, deep scars remain, especially for families who lost loved ones and for children traumatized while riding out the fearsome storm inside two elementary schools.

Associated Press photographers who documented the storm's wrath returned a year later to photograph the progress made by the people and the places captured in their initial images.
