Funeral services for Eugene C. Patterson, the editor emeritus of the Tampa Bay Times, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday at St. Peter's Episcopal Cathedral, 140 Fourth St. N, St. Petersburg. Mr. Patterson, 89, died Saturday evening. He will be buried later at Arlington National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Suncoast Hospice or the Poynter Institute for Media Studies in St. Petersburg.
