THE EYES OF HISTORY 2014 is a photo contest sponsored by the White House News Photographers Association. Here are some of the top images, listed by category. See them weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. through July 14 at the Poynter Institute, the school for journalists that owns the Tampa Bay Times. It is at 801 Third St. S, St. Petersburg.
