Pint of Science blends beer, biology

An annual conversation series that combines suds and science makes its return to Tampa Bay on Monday.

Pint of Science will hold this year's installment at 7:30 p.m. at Florida Avenue Brewing Co. at 4101 N Florida Ave. The conversation topic is "We're Only Human," discussing brain cells, immune systems and more.

The event is free, but a RSVP is requested. To sign up, go to pintofscience.us/events/tampa.

    TAMPA — A Tampa charter school teacher was arrested Sunday after she fired a gun into the ground during a dispute with her boyfriend, police said.
