Tuesday is the last day to register to vote or change party affiliation for the March 15 presidential primary and municipal elections, according to the Pinellas County Supervisor of Elections office.
Residents can register at any Supervisor of Elections office, library, tax collector office or government office handling social services. They can also fill out the application online and deliver or mail it to the Supervisor of Elections office.
To change party affiliation, voters can mail a signed written notice with their date of birth or voter information number to the Supervisor of Elections office or fill out an application with the party change, address and signature.
Florida is a closed primary state, which means residents must be registered as either a Republican or Democrat to vote in those primaries, the office said.
The upcoming election will also include 11 municipal elections for Belleair, Clearwater, Gulfport, Indian Rocks Beach, Madeira Beach, Oldsmar, Pinellas Park, South Pasadena, St. Pete Beach, Tarpon Springs and Treasure Island.
