Voters retained four judges on Florida's 2nd District Court of Appeal by wide margins Tuesday.
The four judges are:
• Anthony K. Black, 56, who has been a CPA, civil trial specialist and Hillsborough Circuit judge, and has served on the appellate court since 2010.
• Darryl C. Casanueva, 61, a former circuit judge and 2nd District Court of Appeal chief judge, who has served on the appellate court since 1998.
• Charles A. Davis Jr., 64, a former Winter Haven mayor, county judge and circuit judge, who has served since 1999.
• Edward C. LaRose, 57, an antitrust law specialist and adjunct Stetson College of Law law professor, who has served since 2005.
Three-judge panels on the court hear appeals from lower state courts, for both criminal and civil cases. Their cases come from Pinellas, Hillsborough, Pasco and other counties.
