Hernando political notebook

• A "10 to Win Victory Run" for Shirley Anderson will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Home at Sea, 5 N Main St., Brooksville. Anderson is the Republican candidate for Hernando County Supervisor of Elections. The cost is a $10 donation to Anderson's campaign. Supporters can meet the candidate and pick up signs or T-shirts. With 10 weeks to go before the general election, supporters will be encouraged to help out by signing up to make 10 calls, put up 10 signs or bring 10 new people to meet Shirley. • The campaign headquarters to re-elect State Sen. Mike Fasano has opened in the Larsen Plaza, 7712 Massachusetts Ave., New Port Richey. Supporters can pick up a yard sign, volunteer in the office, sign up to help walk precincts, stuff envelopes or just stop by to visit. Fasano, a Republican, is the District 11 state senator.     Former Lightning captain Dave Andreychuk has been elected to the Hockey Hall of Fame. He had been eligible since 2009, a ridiculously long wait for someone who scored 640 goals, including a record 274 on the power play.
