TAMPA — A retired Tampa man filed Thursday to run as a write-in candidate against Hillsborough Sheriff David Gee. Robert O. Wirengard, 66, is running as a no party affiliation candidate. He unsuccessfully ran for a Hillsborough County Commission seat in 2002 and for U.S. House District 12 in 2004.
