Slates set in 3 fire district elections

Candidates who qualified Friday for election to the nonpartisan seats for the East Lake Tarpon Special Fire Control District were:

Seat 1: Wilbur F. "Bill" Cannon (incumbent); Wayne E. Ferguson.

Seat 3: C.G. "Chuck" Schult (incumbent); Mark Weinkrantz.

Seat 5: Paul Ferreri; Florence Galloway (incumbent).

Four candidates were qualified Friday for election to the nonpartisan seats for the Palm Harbor Special Fire Control District. None drew any challengers:

Seat 1: Norman Atherton (incumbent).

Seat 3: Robert Shatanoff (incumbent).

Seat 4: Jim Nelson (incumbent)

Seat 5: Joseph Petrillo (incumbent)

Three candidates who qualified Friday for election to the nonpartisan seats for the Pinellas Suncoast Fire & Rescue District were assured of election as none drew any challengers:

Seat 1: Linda J. Snook

Seat 2: John J. Todia (incumbent)

Seat 5: Daniel Madura (incumbent)
