Pinellas County Sheriff’s deputies have begun an eight-month DUI enforcement project. Through a $34,000 grant from the Florida Department of Transportation, patrol deputies will focus on finding those driving impaired and committing other traffic violations including speeding and driving without a seat belt, according to a news release. Deputies will target areas known for impaired driving and based on events going on in the community.
