As news of a shooting at Marjorie Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland spread Wednesday, one Twitter user identifying himself as a freshman student posted live updates from inside.

The first post from Twitter user @TheCaptainAidan came at 2:59 p.m. when he wrote, "I am in a school shooting right now..."

Two minutes later, he posted photos from inside what looks to be a classroom, then another 10 minutes later. "Long live Majory Stoneman Douglas High," he wrote.

Responses rolled in, including one from a user who said she had survived a shooting before.

"Iíve survived this," user @runs_w_woIves wrote. "Youíre gonna be okay. Hang in there sweetie. Stay quiet. Help anyone who is hurt. Stay calm. Itís going to be okay. I promise baby youíre going to be okay."

"Itís so depressing that this has become an ĎIíve been thereí type of situation," another user replied.

By 4:25 p.m., the student posted that he had made it outside. "God bless, America," he wrote.

This is a developing story. Stay with for updates.
