27-year-old injured after crash with semi

GIBSONTON — A 27-year-old was critically injured after a crash with a semitrailer truck on Interstate 75.

At about 1 a.m., Amberlee N. Ochlan of Tampa was driving her Toyota sedan north on I-75 near Big Bend Road behind a semitrailer truck, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Troopers said Ochlan hit the truck from behind and spun into the grass median.

She was taken to Tampa General Hospital in critical condition. The truck driver, David Coello, 45, of Palm Bay, was not injured.

The crash is under investigation.
