SPRING HILL — A 58-year-old man died Thursday evening after suffering a medical emergency, driving off Stallings Avenue and crashing into a mailbox, officials said.
Michael Raymond Gorski, 58, of Spring Hill was driving on Stallings Avenue around 2:30 p.m. just north of Corinthian Street when he apparently suffered a medical emergency.
This caused him to veer off the road and hit a mailbox at 1299 Stallings Ave., officials said.
Gorski was taken to Spring Hill Regional Hospital, where he died.
An investigation was under way Friday morning.
