Accidents in Pinellas Park, Palm Harbor snarl traffic

Two accidents on opposite sides of the Pinellas County snarled traffic Wednesday night.

Pinellas County deputies were investigating a Pinellas Park crash along U.S. 19 just north of Park Boulevard. The crash, reported just before 9 p.m., came after a pursuit of an aggravated assault suspect.

Only one lane of southbound U.S. 19 from 78th Avenue to Park Boulevard was open.

In Palm Harbor, Florida Highway Patrol investigated a 10 p.m. crash involving injuries at County Road 611 and Boot Ranch Road.

The left and center lanes of southbound CR-611 were blocked.
