TAMPA — An Apollo Beach woman died Saturday, 10 days after she was involved in a motorcycle crash, authorities said.

Amanda Brungard, 28, had been hospitalized since Dec. 11, when a car turned in front of the motorcycle she was riding on U.S. 301 near the Florida State Fairgrounds, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. James Dobbins, 54, the driver of the motorcycle was still at Tampa General Hospital on Saturday, in stable condition, the FHP said.

No charges have been announced against Damien Jones, 29, of Tampa, the driver of the Chevrolet Monte Carlo who turned in front of the motor cycle.
