Plant High student remains in critical condition

TAMPA — A 15-year-old Plant High School student remained in critical condition at Tampa General Hospital late Wednesday night after suffering a head injury in a car crash Monday. Ashley Simington was a passenger in an SUV driven by Jason Pyros, 16. He failed to stop at Clark Avenue and Vasconia Street, and collided with another vehicle.
