Bicyclist injured in Brandon crash

BRANDON — An 84-year-old Brandon man was in critical condition Friday night after he was hit by a car while riding a three-wheel bike on State Road 60.

John Miller tried to make a left turn across the eastbound lanes of State Road 60 near Miller Road at 5:05 p.m. when he was struck by an oncoming vehicle, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

Miller was taken to Tampa General Hospital. The driver, 35-year-old Kathy Wagher of Dover, was not injured. No charges or citations have been filed.
