Broken gas line closes MLK Boulevard in Seffner

SEFFNER — A construction crew hit a natural gas line while working Monday morning in the area of Parsons Avenue and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in Seffner.

Authorities stopped traffic in both directions on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard while crews worked to repair the leaking gas line. There was no word on how long it would take to make the repairs.

Drivers in the area were being advised to seek alternate routes.
