MASARYKTOWN - An 80-year-old man is in critical condition after his vehicle collided with a Mack truck this morning at the Pasco-Hernando county line.

Abram Zane of Masaryktown was heading north on Monteverde Drive at around 7 a.m. when his 1984 Datsun pickup truck crossed into the westbound lane of County Line Road, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. Zane's truck collided with a tractor trailer heading west on County Line.

Zane was taken to Spring Hill Regional hospital. The FHP report indicated he was not wearing a seatbelt. The driver of the tractor trailer, Hernan Perez, 51, of Orlando was not injured.
