THONOTOSASSA — One driver died and another was injured in a two-car crash Sunday night, Hillsborough County Fire Rescue reported.
Fire Rescue said the crash was in the area of U.S. 301 N and Ohio Avenue, and that the highway there had been shut down in both directions while the accident was being investigated.
One driver died at the scene and another was taken to Tampa General Hospital with minor injuries, the agency said.
The names of the drivers and other details of the crash had not yet been released.
