FHP seeks hit-run driver in Spring Hill motorcycle crash

SPRING HILL — Investigators are looking for the driver of a Jeep who collided with a motorcycle, sending its rider to the hospital.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the 2006 Suzuki was headed west on Pinehurst Drive on March 7 when the eastbound Jeep veered left and into the bike's path.

The collision knocked the rider of the motorcycle, Cody Medina, 22, of Spring Hill, off the bike. He was taken to Bayfront Medical Center and is listed in stable condition.

The FHP wants help in finding the beige Jeep Cherokee, believed to be a 1984 to 1989 model. Anyone with information about this crash can call (813) 631-4020 or (352) 754-6767.
