HUDSON — Authorities are looking for the hit-and-run driver who injured four kids riding in an all-terrain vehicle, the Florida Highway Patrol said Sunday.

The hit-and-run happened about 1:50 a.m. Saturday.

A 2001 Honda ATV was heading south on Hicks Road with four occupants — 12-year-old Jessica Alonso, 15-year-old Mark Cullpepper, 13-year-old Cierra Delorey and 16-year-old Brandon Knowles.

According to the patrol, the ATV pulled in the path of a Ford Ranger traveling west on Denton Avenue. All four ATV riders were thrown from the vehicle and taken to local hospitals.

Alonso is listed in stable condition, Cullpepper is in serious, Delorey in stable but serious and Knowles is in critical condition, the patrol said.

The patrol has not identified the driver of the Ranger.
