Four-year-old Palm Harbor girl injured after fall from second-story window

PALM HARBOR — A 4-year-old girl was hospitalized Saturday after she fell from a second-story window at her home in Palm Harbor.

Kaylah T. Dambrosio was playing with her cousin about 3:30 p.m. near a window screen in a bedroom of the townhouse at 2197 Fox Chase Blvd., according to sheriff's deputies. At some point, the screen fell off and Dambrosio fell out the window into the yard.

The girl's mother, who was downstairs in the kitchen, heard her crying for help, came outside and found her near a tree, deputies said. Rescue workers arrived a short time later and airlifted the girl to All Children's Hospital for treatment of an injured wrist.
