GULFPORT — A Gulfport man was seriously injured when he was hit by a car Wednesday night while crossing the street.
Jay J. Bowman was walking across 15th Avenue S at the intersection of 58th Street about 9 p.m. when he was hit by a Chevrolet Tahoe, according to Gulfport police.
Bowman was taken to Bayfront Medical Center in critical condition, police said.
The driver, Alexa J. Durbin of Redington Shores, was not charged.
