ST. PETERSBURG — A man who was seriously injured last week in a St. Petersburg car crash died Monday night at Northside Hospital.
Robert Gary Dull, 50, was pronounced dead at 10:44 p.m., police said. He had been hospitalized since March 14 after he suffered an unspecified medical episode while driving north in his 1998 Plymouth on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Street N.
The crash happened about 8 a.m. March 14, police said. Dull's car hit a utility pole in the 8500 block of MLK, knocking off the passenger side mirror, before continuing north, veering across 89th Avenue N and crashing into a second utility pole, police said.
Witnesses came to Dull's aid before emergency personnel arrived.
