Motorcyclist, 21, killed in New Port Richey crash

NEW PORT RICHEY — A 21-year-old Hudson man was killed early Monday after he lost control of his motorcycle, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

Dylan Michael Downey was heading north about 2 a.m. on Little Road north of Trouble Creek Road.

Downey lost control of the motorcycle, headed toward the median and crashed against a guardrail, troopers said.

Downey was taken to Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point, where he died, troopers said.

An investigation remained underway Monday.
