SEMINOLE — A woman was critically injured after she ran a red light on her motorcycle and crashed into a car Sunday morning, authorities said.
Ana M. Clarke, 20, of Pinellas Park, was in critical condition at Bayfront Medical Center Sunday night after the 9 a.m. crash, according to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office.
Clark had been northbound on Park Street N when she ran the red light, witnesses told the Sheriff's Office, and crashed her 2007 Suzuki GZ 250 into a 2006 Nissan Sentra driven by Ernesto Jose Torna, 22, of St. Petersburg.
Torna, who was not injured, had been trying to make a left turn to go east at the same intersection, the Sheriff's Office said.
Clarke was wearing her helmet.
The crash remained under investigation.
