TAMPA — A 53-year-old motorcyclist died Saturday night after crashing into another vehicle on the Courtney Campbell Parkway.
Tampa Police say that at 8:15 p.m., the motorcyclist was riding westbound toward Clearwater when he hit another vehicle at a high rate of speed. The biker was ejected, suffered a serious head injury and died at the scene. Tampa police have not released his name.
The parkway's westbound lanes were expected to be closed through 11 p.m. Saturday night as traffic homicide detectives investigate.
