Motorcyclist dies in crash on U.S. 301

RIVERVIEW — A 51-year-old man died early Monday morning when his motorcycle crashed on U.S. Highway 301.

It happened at about 1:30 a.m. south of Duncan Road, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. Troopers found the man, who has not been identified, dead in a ditch underneath his bike.

The cause of the accident has not been released. Troopers said no other vehicles were involved.
