ST. PETERSBURG — A motorcyclist was seriously injured Tuesday afternoon when he crashed into a truck that pulled into his path on Tyrone Boulevard, police said.

Montgomery A. Smith, 18, of Pinellas Park was riding a 2002 Yamaha motorcycle about 4 p.m. in the 2100 block of Tyrone Boulevard. A 2004 Ford F-250 pulled out of the parking lot of a Home Depot store into the path of the motorcycle, according to police.

The driver of the truck, Dean Thomas Geary, 71, was uninjured.
