Motorcyclist hurt in Clearwater crash

A motorcyclist was hospitalized after a two-vehicle crash on U.S. 19 in Clearwater, officials said.

It happened at 6:45 p.m. at the intersection of 297th Avenue, officials said. The cyclist was transported to an area hospital via helicopter. An emergency official said the man did not suffer serious injuries.
