Motorcyclist killed in Pinellas Park crash

A man driving a stolen motorcycle Thursday night died after he lost control and became trapped under a parked car, Pinellas Park Police said.

About 11:50 p.m. Richard Golden, 31, of St. Petersburg, was speeding near the 6100 block of 78th Avenue N, police said.

Golden crossed a set of railroad tracks and then hit a curb. The motorcycle crashed into a utility pole, cutting it in half. Golden skidded across the pavement for about two blocks into a vacant lot and under a parked car.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The motorcycle had been reported stolen on Oct. 22.
